Steps for Admitted Transfer Students

  • Login to your Redhawk Admissions Portal and look for the Status Update
  • Click “View Update” to view your Admissions decision
  • Back on your home portal page, scroll to see “Set up your SU Account”
  • Set up your account to access your Transfer Credit Evaluation
  • Visit MySeattleU to review your Transfer Credit Evaluation, which shows how your credits transferred to SU.
  • Your Transfer Credit Evaluation and Transfer Credit Summary will show your estimated graduation timeline.
  • If you have not applied for financial aid via the FAFSA or the WASFA, we recommend you do so as soon as possible. Use Seattle University’s FAFSA school code: 003790
  • Students with a submitted FAFSA will typically receive financial aid offers 2 – 3 weeks after admission.
  • When your Financial Aid Offer become available, you’ll access it within your Redhawk Admissions Portal.
  • When you’re ready to officially enroll, submit your Admissions Response Form.
  • A $200 confirmation deposit is required of all new undergraduates admitted to Seattle University for Fall Quarter. The confirmation deposit is non-refundable and will apply toward your first tuition bill.
  • Winter, Spring and Summer applicants are not required to pay an enrollment deposit. 
  • Enrollment deposit waivers are reviewed on case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed; please contact your Admissions Counselor to learn more.
  • Please submit official final transcripts or exam scores as soon as possible so your credit evaluation can be updated and reflect all earned credits. Order transcripts through Parchment or the the National Student Clearinghouse.
  • Check your Redhawk Admissions Portal to submit additional documentation and learn more about next steps for Advising and Orientation.

Enrolled transfer students will register for classes by signing up for an appointment with an Academic Advisor. Instructions for next steps can be found within your Redhawk Admissions Portal.
